Activision is in full support of the Wii U

Activision

Activision’s CEO, Eric Hirshberg, spoke his thoughts on the Wii U, pledging his company’s support for the new console.

We will be supporting the Wii U. You bet against Nintendo at your peril.

As a long-time Nintendo fan myself, this confidence in the Wii U and Nintendo’s future makes me happy. However, Activision hasn’t revealed anything they’re working on for the system yet – we don’t even know if they have anything in development at this point.

Still, seeing as Activision owns the rights to a slew of popular franchises (not the least of which is Call of Duty), this can only be good news.

Expected this to happen. Nothing new, moving on.

What I’d like to hear from Activision is some good gaming announcements.
