Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate will be playable at New York Comic Con

 

Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate, coming to the Wii U and Nintendo 3DS, will be playable at the upcoming New York Comic Con as confirmed by Capcom. Although only the 3DS version will be playable, that version will work in conjunction with the Wii U’s.

ZombiU Japanese site is online

If you’re looking forward to the upcoming Wii U game, Zombie U, then you need to check out the official Japanese launch site. There’s not much there at the present time, but the closer we come to the release of both the Wii U and Zombie U, more content is sure to come.

New Super Mario Bros. U features a continuous world

At their September 13th conference, Nintendo revealed that New Super Mario Bros. U will feature a continuous, singular world similar to the one in 1991′s Super Mario World. The “worlds” will not be divided as in other New Super Mario Bros. games.

Nintendo dropped all the Nintendo Land attraction names:

  • Mario Chase
  • The Legend of Zelda: Battle Quest
  • Animal Crossing: Sweet Day
  • Pikmin Adventure
  • Luigi’s Ghost Mansion
  • Donkey Kong’s Crash Course
  • Metroid Blast
  • Takamaru’s Ninja Castle
  • Balloon Trip Breeze
  • Captain Falcon’s Twister Race
  • Octopus Dance
  • Yoshi’s Fruit Cart

We still know nothing about Octopus Dance, and Yoshi’s Fruit Cart except for the names.

We now have Nintendo’s “entertainment” pillar for the Wii U, Nintendo TVii. At Nintendo’s September 13th conference they revealed their big step into the entertainment portion of Wii U. Its features include but are not limited to:

  • cable/satellite integration
  • Netflix, Hulu Plus
  • Amazon Instant Video
  • TiVo
  • family member preferences

…all seamlessly mixed into one application. The interface looks very polished, and the ability to watch shows, comment on them, and see your other friends thoughts all in the same place is an interesting concept that seems to have been working very well.
