Could Crysis come to the Wii U?

And the third party support for the Wii U continues. In an interview with Develop, the CEO of Crytek, Cevat Yerli affirmed his support for the Wii U. “Crytek’s support for Wii U is definitely going to happen… We aren’t showing it but we are pretty much running [CryENGINE] already…”

Yerli, head of the video game company responsible for the first person shooter Crysis claimed that CryEngine’s tech was close to fully running on Nintendo’s new system, though wouldn’t specify any details. He declined to say what exactly they have in mind, whether ports of existing games or new games.

It’s great news to hear that the Wii U is gathering even more third party support, now we just have to see what games they have in mind for the system.

Forget ports all together, leave that to Ubisoft. I say bring on a brand new EXCLUSIVE game.

Wii U and Crysis would make PS3 and 360 cry like babies with how good the game would look if Crytek brought the game over to the Wii U.
