145 ways the Wii U can make gaming better
By now, it should be pretty obvious that the Wii U has the potential to change the way we play our most beloved genres of games. Touchscreen inventories, windows into the game world, one-on-four multiplayer – a number of E3 demos teased the possibilities. But the “Swiss Army Knife” of controllers might have even more uses than you’ve ever imagined.
Nintendo Entusiast has published an incredibly thorough list of enhancements the Wii U could bring to various modern video games – a whopping 145 of them, to be exact. It’s quite extensive, with suggestions for everything from Assassin’s Creed to Professor Layton; but it’s worth your attention, especially in a slow news week like this one. Click here to read it.

wii u will rock every game!!!
Weather this is related to this article or not, has anyone else read the latest opinion Michael Pachter has put out there? Apparently he figures Nintendo is going down for the count…..I however, am thinking that he might be overreacting by a large margin :/
dont give that THING any attention. hes worthless and hes literally just some random guy, i dont care if hes an “analyst”. that word means nothing, his opinion is as random as any 8 year old ps360 fanboy’s.
@crackkat
That’s exactly what I thought, Nintendo’s not going down for a very long time (or better yet, it won’t ever go down :D) They just hit a bump in the road, their first one in a very long time, and this so called “analyst” has put it out there how they’re doomed now?! Ha, bull shark they’re doomed! I hope someone toilet papers his house on Halloween, cause he’s got something coming to him and when it hits he won’t know what to do >:D (Not saying he’s gonna die, that’d be a bit too harsh, but rather as if his car gets jacked or something else nerve wracking)
Or someone steals his car insurance…
lame joke. -_-‘
I do have to agree with you two. That Pacman or what’s-his-face knows shit about the gaming business. Why can’t he take his analyst business elsewhere? Like the big 4 in the Accounting world or something.
“Ico-style games: Control the person you’re escorting on the controller.”
That’d sorta defeats the purpose and any sense of tension that was found in Ico, but okay. There are a few other suggestions I thought were a little silly as well, but on the whole, an interesting list.
I hadn’t thought of the posibility for a console TWEWY (or something like it) game, that’d be interesting for sure.
Most of the ideas in that article are interesting. Others… not so much, but it’s the option that counts.
I really want to see some serious execution though.
Good post Feld0. This really was interesting, let’s hope these developers can come out with innovative ideas like this.
