Sakurai on Super Smash Bros. 4: “Patience will be rewarded.”
The last issue of Nintendo Power featured an interview with Masahiro Sakurai, in which he gave us an idea of Super Smash Bros. 4‘s progress. To put it bluntly, he still hasn’t put a development team together. But Sakurai assures us that the wait will be well worth it.
I can’t really say anything until things settle down with Kid Icarus… And a lot of it will depend on the team that I end up assembling for Smash Bros. It may take a while, but I think that your patience will be rewarded.
It looks like we’ll be waiting quite a while for this game, but keep in mind that it will be developed for two separate platforms.

I figured as such. Nothing wrong with waiting though if it means it’ll increase it’s quality, which I’m sure it will.
Well, is time for waiting!!!
So they aren’t ready yet with Kid Icarus … Surprises me. Even then it might take some months to get up a team, so maybe SSB4 won’t even see a 2014 release… But if both of the games are going to be as awesome as SSBB, that’s nothing bad!
Hopefully the product is worth it. It will look breathtaking in HD though.
