A public video address by Reggie Fils-Aime
Right as Sony’s conference came to a close, Nintendo put up a short video clip by Reggie to help stir the buzz for their show tomorrow (not as if they needed it). Just look at that content grin on his face. I think Reggie knows he’s got E3 in the bag. Is your body ready?
Did all of Nintendo’s E3 announcements just get leaked?
A 4chan user by the name of Round Cactus claims to be an ESRB employee who has screened the sizzle reel Nintendo will be showing at E3 in less than 48 hours. It’s quite possibly the most grandiose “leak” we’ve had so far, rivaling even those of Emily Rogers. I’ve got my suspicions about the […]
Project Café to simply be called ‘Nintendo’?
Yep, you read the title of this post right. We’re less than two days away from E3 now, and GameInformer is hearing talk that the Wii 2 won’t be called the Stream, Feel, Beem, or anything of the sort. Their sources tell them that it will simply be called… …Nintendo.
Project Café to be at EB Expo in October?
EB Games is starting a new video games expo down in Australia known as the EB Expo. Nintendo’s been confirmed to be in attendance there, but Daniel Vuckovic of Vooks.net has heard word that their new console will be shown there, “with Nintendo allegedly booking floor space for something big.” Tickets for the show are […]

Could ‘Beem’ be Project Café’s real name?
There’s been a lot of debate over what Project Café would actually end up being called. The two most common names we’ve heard so far are ‘Nintendo Stream’ and ‘Nintendo Feel’. But an interesting news tip from Dooks1111 (who contributed a piece to the mockup gallery and will get a community showcase feature soon) brings […]
‘Zelda Universe’ rated for unknown ‘online’ platform [Updated]
Update: According to GoNintendo, the rating has existed for years, and refers to the official Zelda Universe website, despite what I initially thought. So that’s that. Nothing exciting. Today, the Entertainment Software Rating Board – colloquially known as the ESRB – released a rating that is sure to spur lots of discussion. The rating reveals a new […]
Zelda: Skyward Sword is still coming to the Wii in 2011
In other words, it won’t be going the way of Twilight Princess and jumping to the Wii’s successor at the last minute. In an interview with MCV, Nintendo’s marketing manager Rob Lowe (re-)confirmed this by telling us that, “there are great new pieces of software launching this year such as Wii Play: Motion in June […]
Nintendo reveals E3 live stream site, reconfirms June 7 date & time
We already knew the date and time of Nintendo’s press conference at E3, but had no information as to where we’d be able to watch it. Now, though, we know that Nintendo will be live streaming the conference through their own website, just like last year, at e3.nintendo.com. So bookmark the link and remember to […]
Miyamoto talks Project Café
In an interview with the Telegraph, Miyamoto dropped a little tidbit on the approach Nintendo is taking with the Wii’s successor: There’s definitely space for uniqueness in a home console. As you know the Wii is family orientated, played in the living room of the household. We’re hoping to evolve that, there’s a variety of […]
